Fiesta para empleados

Hola de nuevo,

el pasado domingo por la noche se celebró la primera fiesta para empleados en el hotel tras más de dos años de ausencia. Y yo estuve allí y la verdad es que me lo pasé bastante bien. Hubo comida, bebida, regalos, discursos, risas, canto, baile...Así que me vestí para la ocasión y la disfruté mucho junto a mis compañeros de trabajo.

Staff party

Hi again,

last Sunday evening we had the staff party celebration after over a couple of years of lack. I was there and I enjoyed quite a bit actually. We had food, drinks, presents, speeches, laughs, songs, dance...So I dressed myself up for the occasion and I had fun together with my colleagues.

Here I show you some of what was there...:)

Mi día libre

Después de un día agotador, escribo brevemente para contaros qué tal fue mi día libre de ésta semana en la que básicamente opté por relajarme en la piscina, comer en el centro comercial de Al Hamra (la zona donde se sitúa el hotel y en la que vivimos) y por la noche cenar en casa de una compañera de trabajo, Lee, que nos invitó a cóctel, vino y pollo con cous-cous. Todo riquísimo!
El próximo evento se producirá el domingo, cuando se va a celebrar la fiesta de empleados en el centro de convenciones del hotel y en la que posiblemente participaré de forma activa. :) Ya os contaré! Saludos!

My day off
After an exhausting day, here I stop to write a little about my last day off in which I basically chose to relax and enjoy myself at the pool, eat in the mall of Al Hamra (where the hotel is located and the area where we live is called) and spend the night having dinner at Lee's house (a collegue) that invited us for cocktails, wine and chicken with cous-cous. Everything was awesome!
Next event is going to be on Sunday, when we are going to celebrate the staff party in the convention centre of the hotel and where I possibly will participate actively! :) I will explain you eventually! Greetings!

Hola de nuevo!

Hoy, después de un largo día de trabajo, os dejo las imágenes tomadas en Dubai y en Dubai Mall, uno de los centros comerciales de la ciudad con un montón de tiendas de grandes firmas y el más variado conjunto de restaurantes (que recibe el nombre de Food Court) que pueda existir.

Nos fijamos en los escaparates y hasta en los últimos rincones de su decoración. Espero que os gusten tanto como a mí...Mañana voy a disfrutar de mi día libre y a preparar un par de canciones que cantaré el próximo domingo en la fiesta de empleados del hotel en el que celebraremos un concurso de talentos. 

Muy pronto os cuento cómo me ha ido la semana.

Hi again!

Today, after a long working day, here I attach the pictures taken in Dubai & Dubai Mall, one of the malls of the city with plenty big brands shops and the most assorted group of restaurants that you can imagine also called Food Court.

We paid attention to the nice windows and even to the decoration of the place. I hope you like them as much as I did...Tomorrow I am going to enjoy my day off and I will be preparing a couple of songs that I am going to sing in the team members party next Sunday in which we are going to have a talent show.

Afueras de Dubai

El miércoles pasado, en mi día libre, pude por fin hacer algo fuera de lo común y pasé el día en Dubai por primera vez después de un mes de mi llegada a los Emiratos Arabes Unidos. La verdad es que me lo pasé genial recorriendo sus calles y descubriendo su skyline, tan espectacular y lleno de contrastes...

Fue un dia largo y muy provechoso en el que tomé tantas fotos que voy a enseñároslas por partes en varias entradas.

Dubai surroundings

Last Wednesday, in my day off, I had the change of doing something uncommon so I spent the day

  in Dubai for the first time since I am here, a month already that I arrived at UAE. Truth is I enjoyed a lot wandering through streets and discovering the skyline, so spectacular and full of contrasts...

It was a very long and advantageous day in which I could take plenty pictures that I will show you in different uploads.

Below I show you the pictures taken close to the employees accommodation in RAK all the way to Dubai that we did by a rental car with John and Lee, a collegue of us.

Happy Easter

Hola a todos, 

Después de unas semanitas rogando por una conexión a Internet por fin ha llegado. Ahora, si el trabajo y el cansancio me lo permiten, podré escribir de forma más regular y enseñaros algunas fotos que he ido tomando a lo largo de estas primeras semanas, casi casi un mes ya!

Ayer estuve en el hotel Hilton RAK resort&spa pero desafortunadamente no pude tomar fotos del sitio así que me prometí, junto a una compañera de trabajo, volver allí para tomar imágenes con la excusa de ir a cenar sushi...Es muy bonito y tiene una piscina (entre otras) super bonita que dibuja su línea final con el mar...una imágen de postal.

De momento os dejo con unos cuántos momentos que todavía no había podido enseñaros de lo más cotidianos en los alrededores de nuestro alojamiento para empleados.

Por cierto que aquí, como no se celebra la Semana Santa no se ha notado demasiado, sólo ayer algunos deseaban Buena Pascua (Happy Easter) pero hoy ya todo vuelve a la normalidad...Espero que vosotros, al contrario que yo, hayáis disfrutado mucho de la Semana Santa ahora que llega a su punto final.

Easter

Hello everyone, 

After some weeks begging for an Internet connexion at last here it is. Now, if work and tiredness allow me, I will be able to post more frequently and to show you some pictures that I have been taking over the last couple of weeks here. Nearly a month already!

Yesterday I went to Hilton RAK resort&spa but unfortunately I could not take any pictures of the place so I promised to go again, with a colleague, with the excuse of having a sushi dinner once...It is very beautiful and it has a swimming pool (among others) really amazing. It draws a line at the edge of the sea...a postal card moment.

So far, here I attach some snapshots that I couldn't show you yet. Some everyday pictures of the surroundings of the accommodation.

By the way, as here Easter is not celebrated, I haven't noticed a lot; only yesterday some people wished me a Happy Easter but today everything goes back to normal. I hope you all enjoyed it a lot more than I did.
