Cuando decidimos venir a vivir a Holanda teníamos algunas cosas claras, como que yo tendría que aprender el idioma y que muy probablemente no me resultaría fácil encontrar un trabajo debido a ese mismo obstáculo.
No hace falta contaros que durante estos casi dos meses he estado estudiando holandés y solicitando empleo en varios puestos a la vez, pero mi esfuerzo no ha tenido resultado. Las cosas no son fáciles aquí y nadie dijo que lo fueran, pero llegó una gota que colmó el vaso y ahora, a pesar de habernos empeñado tanto, hemos decidido volver a Barcelona. Reconozco que allí la situación económica da pena y la tasa de desempleo está por las nubes. Pero mis padres tienen negocio propio y les echaremos una mano. Así podremos vivir con un día a día más atractivo que el que tenemos aquí...Y tendré a mis amigos cerca, factor que he echado mucho de menos en los últimos tiempos.
El domingo por la tarde emprenderemos rumbo a Barcelona con el coche...Intentaré recoger los momentos más importantes del trayecto para contároslos a la llegada. De todas formas, antes de irnos podréis ver una recopilación de imágenes de nuestra experiencia por aquí.
Hasta entonces os dejo con las instantáneas que tomé hace un par de días de un puesto donde vendían unos dulces típicos que se suelen comer en Nochevieja: Oliebollen. Su sabor me recordó a la masa de los churros, además se mojan en azúcar glasé...

When we decided to come to Holland we had some clear ideas, like I should learn the language and most likely it would not be easy for me to find a job because of that.
There's no need to explain that during this two month I have been studying dutch and applying for several positions at the same time, but my effort hasn't had any results. Things are not easy here and no one said they would be, but something else happened and that was it, we had it. Despite putting so much determination on it we have decided to go back to Barcelona. I recognize that there the economical situation is a disaster and the the unemployment rate is soaring but my parents have their own business and we can give them a hand. So we're going to have a more attractive day to day...And, on top of that, I am going to have my friends around, which I have missed a lot for the last period of time.
Sunday afternoon we are going to head trip to BCN by car...I will try to collect the most important moments of the trip to share them with you at the arrival. Anyways, before we go I amb going to show you a collection of images of our experience here.
Until then...here I attach some picts that I toke a couple of days ago of a peddler where they sell a tipical sweet that they eat for New's Year Eve: Oliebollen. Their taste reminded me to churros dough, and you have to dip them in icing sugar...
